My story featured in the press - an inspiration to many!

Its been a while since my story was published in Daily Monitor's SQOOP Magazine under the DIMES/HUSTLE section. This section showcases youths who have made a difference in their world, and/or those who have achieved comparably a lot more than their peers.

One evening, as I was in a taxi on my way back home, I received an SMS asking me whether it was fine with me sharing my success stories with the nation. I must say, this all seemed like a punk though with the many surprises I now get in my life, I chose not to brush it off.

I spent quite a long period of time wondering what exactly about me was that inspiring to be published in the national papers. Aren't these people just over-rating me? What if my story doesn't make it to their expectations? The thought of dropping the press interview crossed my mind often because I felt I was not an inspirational material! Ha ha. But at end of it, I didn't drop it - I hanged in there and did the interview!

"Gud morn'g Ronald. Jst read ur story in the papers 2de.. its really inspiring! Keep up the spirit." That was my wake up SMS on my phone. I thanked God almost a million times because my story had not disappointed!

By 8:00am, phone texts and calls started dropping in endlessly. I really did reply a few, though each and every other that came in put a wider smile on my face. By the end of the week, I had received close to 80 Facebook messages & 50 friend requests, and 15 messages from my website's contact form.

If you missed the papers that day, catch a scan of them here. Am not really bad at documenting my events

Testimonials
I met Ronald some time when we went out to shoot a video concerning rubbish disposal and street kids. I was greatly impressed with his efficiency as he handled that camcorder. He looked too young to be doing this. That was my inspiration to cross into the computer and media world.

As of now, I’ve worked with Ronald a number of times, and in each piece of work, he has constantly proven his proficiency and reliability in producing blockbuster media. His skills in graphic design, animations, video and photo editing and web site designing go unmatched. He is simply a media prodigy. Way to go Ronald!
