Am a Freelance Web Developer and Designer with a unique touch of style and creativity based in Kampala, Uganda.
As an experienced Web Developer, I know what makes a web site work and how to make you get maximum results from your web presence. I also know that web development involves a lot of work - I am more than ready to roll up my sleeves and get my hands dirty just to get you the best online presence.
My participation as a player and facilitator in the World Bank’s online game, EVOKE is one of those things that have happened to me that will stay legendary. The weekly IMAGINE mission objectives required the players to take a visit to the year 2020 and report on what they saw this world like then.
I know you must be wondering how possible it is for someone to visit 2020 that is actually 10years from now. Don’t worry, that also happened to me the first time I was asked to get there.
In our first EVOKE mission (Social Innovation), we were asked to report about how we, the new social innovators would have tried to fix the world by 2020 clearly highlighting our successes. I must say, it took me approximately 48hours to clearly understand what I was required of. Unfortunately, when I reasoned this out as a scientist, I totally failed to get the solution. So I just closed my eyes, relaxed my nerves, and within just 2minutes, I was already there. It was a world of peace, love, and great accomplishments.
When I returned back to 2010, I came back with a sense of hope that soon everything will get fine – we just need to work hard.
In the fifth EVOKE mission (The future of money), we were asked to journalistically report a story about a new form of exchange, money transfer, or currency that was just going to be launched the following day, April 1, 2020. The video below was the report I submitted.
